This halo timer app has audio and visualcuesfor when weapons and powerups will spawn in Halo : CombatEvolved.Since all weapons and powerups spawn on a timer, this appwill keeptrack of each map's times and give alerts. There is no onscreenindication of when these items spawn in game so this appallows theuser to do that. Simply press start on the timer when themap loadsand the app will count down when the items are going tospawn. Youcan use this to gain an advantage over other players whodon't knowwhen each weapon will spawn and grab items before anyoneelse.The timer is designed to be able to be used while playingandminimizing the amount of distractions so you can focus on thegame.There are simple visual cues designed to be able to instantlyknowwhat is happening at a glance due to the colors andhighlighteffects. This also helps so you don't have to have theaudio if youcan't hear it with headphones on. The audio cues aredesigned soyou don't even have to look at the screen because theapp will listeverything that is spawning and count down inintervals you canchange. And if you are unable to look at thescreen while busy in afirefight, the app will keep indications ofwhat is available forup to 20 seconds if the user wants.This halo timer app supports all classic xbox and halo pc mapsaswell as halo pc changes to classic maps with the new weaponstheyadded. It has support for both king of the hill and capturethe flaggametype effects on weapon spawn times and the app willalso givealerts for king of the hill. The user can customize allthe audiocue types as well as when they hear them. Users can evencustomizewhich weapons and powerups are tracked on a per map andgametypebasis.Having an app like this was unheard of back when Halo:CEwasplayed competitively and players used to just have astopwatchglued to their controllers. This timer does all the hardwork foryou by keeping track of every map and gametype weapon timesso youcan focus on winning.Please note: This app will be updated to use the halo pctimeswhen MCC comes out. I am working on this right now. The government wasted $350k just on the app andprobablymore for something that took me a few minutes to puttogether.Putting this online to point out how much waste thegovernmentspends on stuff that can easily be done for 1/5000th ofthe priceif going by a standard programmer salary.
